Boyfriend met his best friend (27m) on the way to our Valentine’s Day casual date and brought him to have dinner with us. We planned this afternoon for a casual dinner and drinks at a separate location after.
I felt upset because it came as a surprise to see his friend with him when they entered the restaurant together. His friend apologised that he is crashing our v-day date.
I refuse to go to for drinks after this friend left us. bf said there is no way he could tell me before hand as he only met his friend outside the restaurant.
He got angry with me for not going to drinks, and ruining our valentines date. He got up and left me at the restaurant.
Did I overreacted about this situation and made him upset?
