Omg how can I have friends that live all over the United States but can’t have friends where I actually live. Every time I have made a friend that is local has ended up blowing up. One of my friendships almost 10 years plus long ended up being ended by her, because I held her accountable for allowing a pistol in a bag to be near children that could have accessed it. And I was upset. Another one is a person who couldn’t tell me that my venting was affecting them when I would vent about my relationship/life and things that are going on. and then decided to be jealous and call my husband and tell him everything that I’ve vented about. All the venting I did was things that I wouldn’t want to bring up to my husband because they wouldn’t matter in six months to a year. I have no clue if I just can’t pick friends or if I am a shitty friend.
