Am I being a dramatic female?
Friday night my boyfriend of 3 years texts goes off at 1238am. He stays asleep then the next morning a see in his phone his old hook ups name. I don’t say anything and wait to see if he mentions it. Two days go by with nothing from him. So I ask him who was messaging him in the middle of the night. He said “no one was messaging me, my phone sends notifications for galaxy and a slot game” I told him that was weird since I saw females name on the phone. He quickly changed it to him deleting the message and not reading it and didn’t respond as he wants nothing to do with her and didn’t want us to fight. I tried to explain that him lying and hiding it was making it all appear worse. I asked him for a few days space and we are to get together tonight to talk. I feel as though I can’t trust him since this is the 3rd time he’s lied about talking to exes or opposite genders. He reasoning is always that u get upset with him. He hasn’t actually given me the truth to see how I would respond or allow me to hear from his mouth about the interactions. I’ve told him the lying then backtracking is what is making me lose trust. Not who he speaks with. Though midnight texts from old hook ups are never wholesome in nature. I just need advice I guess. Am I being too dramatic amd controlling? Since I asked him to meet with me tonight so we can talk any insight would be good. Thanks
