Hi all, had an unexpected free day with no one availble so wrote this question

I was looking at **some random overpriced tea (like 3 times PG tips price)** to see what they have, they say: [https://i.postimg.cc/7hbSnWcn/Tea.png](https://i.postimg.cc/7hbSnWcn/Tea.png) “we use finest … and add zesty citrus bergamot and lime flavours” and “All natural. No artificial Flavourings” then showing Ingredients as Darjeeling tea 98%, natural flavourings, cornflowers 1%

i.e. Natural Flavourings are still artificial (ultra-processed unhealthy etc, e.g. infectious diseases doctor at UCLH talkimg about it [https://youtu.be/uAVuU2xS\_YA?t=68](https://youtu.be/uAVuU2xS_YA?t=68) ) and from Cambridge Journals, [https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/public-health-nutrition/article/ultraprocessed-foods-what-they-are-and-how-to-identify-them/E6D744D714B1FF09D5BCA3E74D53A185](https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/public-health-nutrition/article/ultraprocessed-foods-what-they-are-and-how-to-identify-them/E6D744D714B1FF09D5BCA3E74D53A185) :

>*”…some of the most frequently used cosmetic additives such as flavours, flavour enhancers, colours and emulsifiers are usually easy to identify in ingredients lists. They are often expressed as a class, such as flavourings or natural flavours…”*
>
>*”…Ultra-processed foods are not ‘real food’. As stated, they are formulations of food substances often modified by chemical processes and then assembled into ready-to-consume hyper-palatable food and drink products using flavours, colours, emulsifiers and a myriad of other cosmetic additives. Most are made and promoted by transnational and other giant corporations. Their ultra-processing makes them highly profitable, intensely appealing and intrinsically unhealthy…”*
