Board games, bowling, other arcade games.
TBH I wont be able to talk while I am playing TT. That requires good focus and I aint losing to my date ..lol 😛
Old school console games would be perfect for this, simple stuff like puzzle bobble and things like that, plus you can get them pretty easily for free and play them on any computer.
my favorite has been bowling, going to an arcade, and playing games like set and bananagrams
Mini golf, fun two player board games, like a trivia thing? Where are you based? In London we have a lot of cool VR experiences, escape rooms, etc – also helps if they’re into those kind of things.
Random note: on my profile I said I loved boardgames and videogames. The guy took me to a boardgame cafe and then the next date was a place called Four Quarters known for retro and new video games. The sex was really bad (chemistry completely off key) and there wasn’t another meet up but I’ll never forget those dates!
Good luck!
Board games. Card games to get to know each other and be flirty! Drinking games
Battleship and Sorry are fun two player games that I’ve played on early dates before 🙂
Card games like Taboo, That’s what she said , and Five Second Rule are fun!
Big Buck Hunter. Skeeball.
Build a faster bond has me a bit 😬. Just enjoy your time together and don’t stress about rushing the bond.
Fowling (throwing a football at bowling pins. Sort of like cornhole/bags) was something I tried recently at a bar and it was fun. Not great for conversation during but fun to joke around and chat about after. I really want to do an escape room too!
If we are talking beyond a month and a few first dates, and you are okay with a bit of discomfort: {the and} dating edition card set.
{the and} is a series on the YouTube channel The Skin Deep. It’s an intimate card game of question and answer, some light questions, some revealing. There is a dating deck, a long term couples deck, family deck…etc.
The dude I am currently seeing was pretty cynical about it and initially called it a ‘bad idea’, essentially. Now, he has initiated the game more than I have, and shares more than I do when it is his time to answer. It has absolutely contributed to our bond as it has sparked conversations we didn’t even know we needed to have.
Would 100% recommend if the person you’re dating is a serious candidate for forever.
I’ve had success going to the driving range before, but not everyone is into that sort of thing
Darts, billiards, bowling, disc golf, golf, board games, brewery trivia, arcade/beercade, shuffle board, there’s a lot of options and most any of them work pretty much just depends what you guys are into!
Scrabble. it’s important to know how someone argues.
I once went on a date to play DDR.
I’m not good at it, but I think it just made it more fun haha
Scattegories is my fave! I also love playing Quiplash on Jackbox TV with a group. You use your cell phones as a way to answer the questions. It’s like a version of Apple to apples if you will.
I also love bar trivia bc you and date become a team
Mini golf and trivia are both fun options!
