I (F24) have been with my boyfriend (M24) for 6 months now. About a month ago, while having a conversation, the topic of sending nudes came up and I asked him if he’d ever sent/received them. He said yes but followed with ‘I deleted them when we started going out’.
Which brings us to today. I needed some pictures of ours we took from his phone so I asked to borrow it. I accidentally ended up clicking the top of the screen which took me to the beginning of his gallery and there were pictures of his and his ex-girlfriend. I was very taken aback but to my fault I ended up scrolling down and saw hundreds of their pictures and videos (including nudes) of hers. He was right in front of me while this was happening and I started crying and left to go to my place.
I haven’t spoken to him since and do not know how to proceed in this situation. Is it okay to have just forgotten to delete them? Is this an acceptable excuse?
