This happens to me most of the time. When I’m in the middle of a conversation, my social battery just becomes low, and my brain starts thinking of ways to end the conversation. I often appear uninterested and find myself zoning out in front of the person I’m talking to. The most recent situation occurred when I was with two older women, and we were discussing something. Suddenly, my social battery shut off, making the atmosphere awkward and heavy because I became too serious or stopped listening.
