My boyfriend and I have been together 8 years. I was a bit of a late bloomer and he’s the only person I’ve had sex with. I don’t know the exact number but he’s had double digits amount of sex partners. That detail doesn’t bother me specifically.
What does bother me is I’m worried I’m missing out on other experiences due to my boyfriend’s preferences. Our sex is good, we have fun, but I don’t feel like I’ve had anything mind-blowing since early on in our relationship. There’s a lot I want to do/try that I just don’t see him being interested in but I haven’t brought it up. There are also things I’ve brought up before that I know he won’t do, and it’s like, do I want to go my whole life having never experienced it?
Can someone who’s been in this situation give me some input?
