I (26f) have recently come out of a 3 year relationship and thought I’d download Hinge as a bit of a confidence boost. I was speaking to a guy (30m) who ticked all my boxes and everything was going well and we decided to meet that evening (last night). The date was absolutely amazing, so much chemistry, kissing, never felt sparks like it. It was a very intense date in the sense we both said we wanted it to go further. We both considered to go back to his place but he said he really didn’t want to make it about sex with me because he wanted to keep seeing me. Which I absolutely loved and it got me so excited to see him again. He kept saying the entire date he wants something serious. He text me immediately after asking if I got home ok and said he wants to see me next week for lunch, have a night away together etc and absolutely showered me with compliments and I did the same back. He also kept saying in the messages that he wants something long term with me but he really also wishes I went to his. Some of the chat was also a bit sexual from his side. However, today I received no message from him, the last thing I said was speak to you tomorrow to which he heart reacted. I sent him a message asking how his day was (I wasn’t going to but it was driving me nuts) he replied normally and asked how mine was. I think it’s a red flag that he didn’t text me today if he wanted to see me again / make plans etc. what do you think I should do? Part of me is holding out hope (he’s a bit older than me and doesn’t seem like a huge huge texter, he’s quite formal). Is this just what online datings like? Do people just have no manners? It’s a shame because he said he isn’t a ghosted etc … I’ve been single for not long at all and whilst navigating my break up now I have this to deal with 🙃
