I am too young to remember, but even though The EU hasn’t legally changed since the Treaty of Lisbon in 2007….it seems to me like today it is much more involved and many more people expect it to actually do things and influence both their daily lives and international affairs (regardless of if they see it as positive or neg).
Like the collective understanding of most Europeans is now that’s its a real government with responsibilities rather than just an international organization. Would shift since 2010 be accurate?
