So I’m more against having kids than having kids for my own reasons. I’ve come up with a list of why I don’t want them and that list was soo much longer than the list for wanting them. Anyway, all the guys I’ve gotten to know, want kids and one guy told me I was selfish for not wanting kids? Wth.
Surely it’s more selfish to bring up a child if you already have the mindset of not wanting them/feeling like you wouldn’t be able to support them/constantly stressing and worrying about them. I think people forget that kids don’t stay kids forever and being a parent is a FULL time responsibility that doesn’t end as soon as they hit 18. So what’s the point?
Would be interested to hear other people’s POV. Am I selfish? I don’t think so. Selfish for wanting to spend my money on me? Selfish for having me time all the time?
