So one day I was standing outside in the evening enjoying the cool breeze two ladies approached me and they were looking for a professor’s home and they weren’t able to find the correct address so as expected I tried helping them they were given a location and she showed it to me and you know the satellite pov is completely different and there were no markings too like a landmark. They didn’t even bother calling the person they were tryna reach and I was the one to give that much common sense to them. I tried asking them for a particular landmarks shops or anything that could give us a hint coz where I live there are way too many streets it’s like a maze. After spending like good 10 to 15 minutes and the professor wasn’t picking up the call they just left like literally you stopped by my house asking me the directions,taking my time and then you literally left without giving any confirmation or at least thanks even if I was not able to help.
Conclusion: After this whole incident I feel like I overdid it I mean I could have just say you can ask someone else on the next street and not embarrassed myself. But I didn’t realise it until I was told by my friend come inside and said tf are you doing they didn’t even thank you and rode away without saying anything. Seriously I wonder why people are like this you can’t appreciate others efforts the least they could say is ‘ hey we will try asking about the address on the other street and just ride away’ that’s it.
Bonus: They both were even arguing on the point who will talk to their professor when I asked them to. I mean what in the world are smoking just ask him where’s his home at ? Btw I’m a terrible storyteller and whatever I have said is just rant and I don’t know what else should I have expect in the situation coz this was the first time people being rude for asking directions. let me know your thoughts about this
