Would it be crossing the line to get my gf a buttplug as a surprise?

Ok so not a total surprise. She’s talked about wanting to try these things more than once and I said I’d love it. We are trying out a vibrating cock ring and was thinking of also buying the plugs as well. Should I? Or should I let her make those purchases when/if she wants to?
