I only follow US Politics a little bit, but i often see news of passinglegislation that just seems like completly nonsensical names for the reason of forming an acronym.
Examples that immidiatly come to mind
“Reject Escalating Satanism by Preserving Essential Core Traditions” (RESPECT Act) Arizona
or the
“Stop Wrongs to Our Kids and Employees Act” (Stop-WOKE Act) Florida
those are just examples and i’m not really interested in a discussion about their contents, I’m just curious about the meta of creating acronyms with the fulltext of the act.
