I’m from upstate NY and recently moved to NJ. I’ve seen a lot of people from Jersey always have pride of being from the garden state, but this new generation has it even more. I’m into a lot of pop culture/music, and a lot of the artists that come from the state always mention Jersey. I’ve seen rappers from here end their interviews with “Jersey” and even normal people from here shout out “Jersey” when they say bye to each other or just chanting lol. Has this always been a thing
