Hi. Basically, im having a LOT of brown discharge and im really confused as to why and concerned if i should consult a doctor. Heres the backstory:
Basically, a week ago my boyfriend and i had (rough) sex and midway i started bleeding out everywhere, a LOT of blood. After some bodily research i found that i got some really bad vaginal cuts, one deep and others small, all on the outside of my vagina. Its been a week since then and the cuts are practically healed but since 2 days ago i’ve started having some brown discharge, and a LOT of it. Im concerned that it might be internally infected. My boyfriend and i always use condoms and he’s never came inside of me so im 100% sure its not due to pregnancy. I also have irregular periods, basically i dont bleed for months at a time and then suddenly i get my period heavily for a few weeks. This is a separate issue but it seems to rule out that the discharge is period related. My boyfriend and i are the first people we’ve ever had sexual relations with, so it cant be an STD. Basically, im confused on what is causing this discharge as i have never had brown discharge before and im concerned it could be an infection from an internal cut we missed after the sex. I havent told my parents ive been involved in sexual activity and if i went to a doctor and they examined me it would be very clear my hymen is broken which would lead to me having to tell my parents this. Thats my last resort to be honest. If anyone has ideas or comments it would be greatly appreciated thank you.
