Do they teach the history of Mexico and Latin America in American schools?

I mean, not only when USA history was involved like the Mexican-American war but also about the history in general of Mexico and LatAm countries.

Like, they teach about prehispanic civilizations, spanish/portuguese colonization, all the wars (mexican-french wars, mexican revolution, triple alliance, pacific war), or about the modern situation of the countries?

I know every state have their own education system, but I’d love to hear y’all experiences.
