Hi all, there is a specific type of bread that Americans call the “French bread”: https://www.melskitchencafe.com/french-bread/

And the “Italian bread”: https://www.thefoodnanny.com/blogs/recipes/italian-bread

They don’t exist in New Zealand. Are they actually found in France (for the “French bread”) or Italy (the “Italian bread”)? Or are they morphed from native styles of bread?
