Girlfriend lied to me multiple times what should I do?
My girlfriend was recently dating her ex when we met they were not in a relationship at the time just seeing each other. She broke things off with him to be in a relationship with me. However, we’ve recently been having issues such as her liking all of his instagram pictures. We talked about it and agreed it was disrespectful and she shouldn’t be doing that. But she did it two more times in a one month period, which led to further arguments.
Last week she asked me if I would be okay with her calling him to ask about a company she interviewing for to pick his brain about the industry and what he knows about the company. We agreed they wouldn’t talk about anything related to their relationship, strictly business but it was okay to give him a call. I know you guys might be thinking I’m a dumb ass but I was honestly trying to show I trusted her.
After the call I asked her how it went and specifically asked her if they talked about anything relationship related to which she laughed and said no. Then she told me he wanted her to follow up and let him know how it went. I told her no way this is just a one time thing and not meant to be some on going thing with them talking. She agreed and said she wouldn’t follow up.
Yesterday after I found out she liked another one of his pictures, we started talking and she admitted she had a tough time getting over their relationship but says she definitely wants to be with me and loves me. She also admitted they talked about their relationship and she told him she misses him and he asked her if they could see each other. Then she also admitted that she called him after her interview as well. At this point idk what to do that’s a lot of lying and the fact that she’s still into him is bothering me. What should I do?
