I love hugs, it’s a gesture that’s like my way of saying “I embrace you in my life and your presence is welcome here.”
But it’s been brought to my attention that not everyone is a hugger. I’m sad.
So now I imagine like meeting someone and just saying “hi 🙂” and no hug just in case they’re not huggers.
The atmosphere feels so cold…but like inside I’m chaining down every inclination to be like “are we good?, do you like me? Like, you know we cool right? You know I’m genuinely happy to see you right?” 😂😂😂.
