I’m from Ireland and my wife and I are visiting Los Angeles next month to visit a family member’s graduation.
We’ve decided to take the scenic route to experience the American Deep South, so we will be flying into Miami, renting a car and heading west.
Based on our route (Miami to LA via Dallas and Las Vegas en route, and we can’t deviate off course too much as we only have 10 days for the road trip, then spending a week in LA) just wondering if anyone can recommend some nice, safe towns en route that would be worth visiting?
I’m not one for needing to tick off tourist attractions, would really just love to experience some authentic small towns of the American south on our trip.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, we meet Americans all the time here in Dublin and you guys are always so friendly. Thanks a million in advance❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇮🇪🇮🇪
EDIT: sorry should have specified – I have 10 days for the road trip. I am then staying in LA for another week 🙂
