what’s the best condom brand and type

i lost my v-card a bit ago and have been frequently having sex since, and the only condoms i have are the purple ones from durex , no idea the size or type of them (my friend gave them to me). One of my friends have been using the same condoms and they broke for her, then that happened to another friend. the condoms aren’t expired so i think i should switch brands or something just in case mine break too. any recommendations?
