My friend called me to share about how after talking with his ex collegemates he realized that they have a much better job than him.
I did try to argue on the possible flaws of their jobs but he seemed to be counter arguing with me on my every point. Trying to prove that he is worthless and his friends are doing great.
In the end, I realized whatever I will say to him he will not feel good. And there’s no point in telling him lies about how great his job is or how equally bad other’s are.
I don’t know how to react in such scenarios.
