I (21f) am seeing an older man (31m) and I don’t know what to think about it.
I (21f) met this guy who’s 31 and well he’s been steadily showing interest in me. We both go to the same university and live at the same dorms. One day he just came up to me and started chatting and then later that week I gave him my number at a social we had. I know people say older men seek out younger women because they’re easier to manipulate but I don’t know if sought me out per se. He said I looked familiar and that’s why he decided to talk to me ( idk if this is some kind of tactic). He’s also friends with a guy I deem a decent person and I guess I could ask him to vouch for him. I don’t know if I’m deluding myself into thinking it could work. What do you all think? For additional context, he’s from a different country in the Caribbean, im in my final year, he still has one more year. Also I didn’t know he was 31 when I first started talking to him, he looked older but I guessed 27. Do you all think it’s possible that it can work out?
