Can one drive in the UK based on their Pakistani driving license, or do I require a Pakistani International driving license for that?

Apologies for the very niche question, and genuine apologies if the question offends someone.

I’m planning to come to the UK, and was curious, if I needed to make an International driving license to drive in the UK, or would my national driving license work?
