I (very early 20sF) was at an event and a guy I knew as kids approached me and we had a little “do you remember me moment”. I posted something on my story and he replied to it because he happened to also go to that festival but we didn’t know we were both there. We started texting (on insta) from there. Our messages would be pretty long with a bunch of questions and I did start to find him attractive. He would also ask me what I’m up to and how my day went. (We didn’t text all day but it was pretty lengthy messages imo) The first time he took a while to reply, he a apologized but over the span of the week his reply time got longer so like 1 or maybe 2 texts in a day. He still replied with energy tho. Although the last 2-3 message was just him answering my questions without asking anything but he still dragged out his responses like “thissss”. I thought he may have been interested but because of the long reply times, not asking questions for the last for few texts, and not asking me out I assumed he no longer was. Then again maybe he just wanted to catch up and didn’t even like me.
The last message I sent was a convo ender I guess because I said something like “oh okay”. He never said anything after that. It’s been almost a month but he did like a story I posted about a family member not that long ago. Do you guys think I can revive this because I think I was just overthinking or do you think he’s definitely not interested or is it too late now? I’m honestly very new to dating and I feel like I misread the whole situation.
