-For context: saw a notification from a girl called susan that stated “HAHAHA, I saw that you liked me on leo..” when I was hanging out with him. Was comprehending was I’d seen so didn’t ask about it on the spot. Texted him when I got back asking abt the notifs. Here r the details he provided:
His friend, susan, sent her profile to him on a messaging app since they were friends and he decided to hop on the site to like it for fun to annoy her. She has a bf so she’s on there for fun.
I then asked if Leo is a dating app, he said “not really”, I googled and it seems to be a making friends/dating app/site where you can like people. He said I should’ve brought it up the moment I saw the notification to clear the air.
he continued saying that it’s just her profile on that website (Leo) and he liked it, she knows it him and she messaged back for fun. Then he claimed to blue tick her
I didn’t give him an immediate reply so he asked if I was okay and said he would talk to me about it before he does things like that. Awhile later, I questioned him how the site operates in which the he went:
“Just open the app and see the profiles. I used my male friend’s account and changed his name to mine to like her profile. This male friend of mine had her profile already.”
Edit: Not sure if this adds on. But for each piece of information, I had to ask more questions to get the next piece. If not he wouldn’t have said this much. I just compiled all his responses in a few chunks
I found the story suspicious and plan to talk to him in real life about it soon. Not sure if I’m overthinking this, but to me it’s suspicious. What r your thoughts?
– background about us: met on hinge in nov2023, got together in feb2024. he does send snaps to people that have randomly added him as he likes to see his score go up. these people can be girls or guys. one time when he opened snapchat, I saw a snap of a girl with the caption “I love my baby”. idk who this baby is. he claims for her to be a random girl who added him and showed the convo between him and her, entailing only snaps to and from each other with no text messages. he claims to have no female friends soon before we got together too but I see a lot of girl names popping up in his notifs. i am the only girl who follows him on Instagram.
I didn’t get him to clear the girls in his followers or following, he just never had any in his small following of 20-30. The things that come out of his mouth doesn’t match the things that r showing up.
also, he lies a lot and tells me about his lies to his friends and family. I’ve also caught him in his lies before to me.
