Context we all ordered from same place. One of the people who ordered lunch with us was walking by and asked what I got.
I told them what I got and he acknowledged it.
To be polite and social as an afterthought I asked him what he got. Is this appropriate or is there a better way to answer?
These type of questions pop up a lot. Does my answer and followup change depending on what I want out of the engagement with said person?
