I recently started a new job last week and I felt as though I hit it off with my coworker right away, we have been flirting all week. He asked me to go to a show with some of our other coworkers and to grab dinner just us two beforehand. But today he texted me this morning letting me know he had to drive to the neighbouring city (5 hrs away) to his hometown to help his grandpa with something. His text said “I’ll send you the show tickets, you should still go with someone else 😉 or I can etransfer you the price of the ticket so you’re not out any money.”
Just trying to figure out why he would suggest I go with someone else. Is he being sarcastic? He seemed to have been into me. I’m just thrown off by this comment. Thoughts?
