I am sitting in an independent café in Cheltenham, drinking a £4 oat milk cappuccino. Chains (e.g., Caffè Nero) are not cheaper. By comparison, I got a sausage roll and a steak bake for less than £3.50 at Greggs this morning. Have coffees become a privilege?
