I(26F) recently met this guy(23F) on Bumble, he literally asked me straight if I wanna grab a drink and I said yeah in person is better so we confirmed the date and area that we would met. No text at all after confirming the location the night before and the actual meeting date, we just showed up exactly the time and location we agreed.
Meet up and had an amazing evening, talking a lot of political stuff, he was very gentleman throughout, and by the end of date he kissed me and he asked me if he’s invited back to mine, I said it’s not my speed, so he walked me to the station naturally holding hands after the kiss. Otw I asked him does him like texting, he said not really, and I agreed that in person is better. We started talk about when we’ll be available next time, he asked me to text him when I’ll be free but also I told him what my schedule looks like. In the end he gave me a gentle kiss goodbye and said I’ll definitely see you again. So next day I texted him to thanks him and express I’d love to do it again.
So for guys who doesn’t like to texting, how long should expect them to text back to confirm the second date? I’m not too worried as he thanks me a few time during the date for the night and he’s busy for the family visit this weekend, but how long would you say I’ll expect him to text to confirm the second date?
Also, is there a good way to let him know next time in person that I expect some communication, eg. short calls in between dates? Thank you so much!
