I asked this girl I’ve known for a few months if she wanted to have dinner with me at a restaurant with me. She said yes. We went to a pretty nice restaurant and she didn’t seem to mind that I paid. In asking her to dinner, I meant to ask her on a date, but now I’m not sure if my intent was clear or if she might’ve thought I just wanted to have a friendly dinner. I’m really shy and even asking her for dinner was really hard, so I don’t know how I would clear up any confusion if there is any.
