I went out all day. It was nice out, so I went to three different suburban areas near me to try to talk to people from 1 PM to 7 PM. I went to several public places, a library, a bookstore, a restaurant, and a mall (which I hate). I made two conversations the entire day and neither of them were even worthwhile.
The first one, a dude told me my fly was down (it was) and then he laughed at me.
The second one, a dude at a store tried selling me product by asking what I liked. He left me alone after failing to convince me to buy something.
I don’t really know what I’m doing wrong at this point, I’ve been taught to NOT approach people because it makes them uncomfortable but at the same time nobody approaches me (it doesn’t help I’m considered “unapproachable”). I don’t even know if I’d consider this growth, all I did was make myself uncomfortable.
