I (30F) have been told by family that my standards are too high when looking for a partner.. It’s because I’m really looking for someone with the same hobbies as me inside the house and outside.. for example I love gaming don’t want to give it up it’s my escape from reality so I would like to find someone that shares that.. but at the same time I also like being outside fishing, camping etc and I really want someone who is vehicle savvy since I’m just learning and think it would be a fun thing to do together since I have a project truck I’m currently working on.. I want someone who can do both things. I don’t see it as my standards being too high since I do both things? My family thinks I should choose one or the other either someone who likes to game or someone who likes to be outside. But I don’t get that why should I choose I like both so why can’t I find someone the same way as me? They don’t think I will that I’m an oddball out😔
