I matched with a woman (24) on Hinge recently. We have a fair bit in common, and after a few days of messaging she gave me her number and agreed to meet up for coffee at a cafe.

I don’t particularly enjoy this process, I have only ever been on one date ever and it was a couple of months ago. It didn’t go fantastic, but that was to be expected, as it was my first actual date

I’m a pretty anxious individual, but mask it well, this makes it difficult to take the lead in situations and can manifest as awkwardness.
I’m starting to find the nerves are building up.

We should have plenty to talk about as she has an interesting array of hobbies. My concern is, the cafe is sort of in an isolated location, so there is nothing to really do after the date, i.e walk, ice cream etc. assuming it goes okay.

Also managing my obvious anxiety levels, my previous date I can acknowledge my body language was not open or relaxed at all. Obviously they pick up on this.
