This is such an exhausting & reoccurring issue for years now. My boyfriend always puts me down for having a soft voice & being quiet. He tell me that being introverted and having a soft voice is rude. The main issue is that when I would visit his family with him, I would enter the home or wherever, say Hi, and apparently no body would “hear me” because I didn’t say Hi loud enough. His family is really loud and extroverted, but I just found it odd that even if I entered their presence, they wouldn’t acknowledge me until I said Hi and then my boyfriend would say “you never said Hi and nobody heard you”. Seriously??? I don’t understand.
