I (17 male) want to build a friendship with a girl at my college. Typically, she sits with her friend during most lectures, but there’s one where she usually sits alone. I feel a bit empathetic because I often sit alone in lectures. I’d really like to approach her and strike up a friendship, but I’m worried she might not be interested in having another friend since she already has one, or she might think I am hitting on her. (Im not gay BTW, but I would love to be her friend :/) Do you have any advice or tips for me?
