For context yes we’re both still in highschool and we have been dating for just over three months. I noticed that she started seeming more uninterested whenever I would ask if she would like to go out. After a while I figured that I was being insecure about it and wanted to apologize to her in case I had been overwhelming during this. When I was apologizing she told me that she was sorry becuase she HAD been distancing herself because she has been trying to figure out if her feelings towards me are romantic or platonic. She said she was sorry that she never said anything and that she’s really bad at communicating(she is). I asked her what she needed from me and she said that she didn’t know. I told her that whatever she needed I’d be there for her, but I also said that we haven’t known each other for super long and this is still super early into the relationship so we also don’t know a lot about each other. We agreed that we would go out tomorrow to just talk and to genuinely learn about each other’s interests, disinterests, etc. I really want this to work out because I genuinely really like her but I’m not sure what else to do or even ask about tomorrow. Are there any suggestions for what we could do to figure this out?
