Okay so i (18 M) have been with my girlfriend (18 F) for about a year now. Last night when we were together, somehow we ended up on her old phone because it was on the nightstand. I started to overthink and asked if i could go on the instagram, then i found a second account i’ve never seen before, she snatched it out of my hands and said “that’s a really old porn account”. I never saw what was in the account because it wouldn’t log in but my question is why would it be there in the first place if she didn’t know the email or password. She told me that when she was transferring data from her old phone to her new phone she downloaded messenger and she thinks it synced to her instagram. I want to believe her but it makes no sense, i also found like a burner email + phone number app but nothing on it, so i have no idea if this is really an old account or if she just made it. Today i asked to see the date she downloaded the apps and then she stopped responding and won’t show me. I don’t know what to do, i love her a lot but i don’t believe her.
TL;DR! my girlfriend has an unknown instagram on her old phone and she claims it’s an old porn account but i have no idea if she just made that up or not since i’ve never seen that account logged in before.
