There was a liquor tasting at the supermarket yesterday by a local manufactuer, and I bought a bottle or their arancello. It was so so good. I then put it on the balcony yesterday to cool it down, and forgot about it. This morning it’s -3 degrees outside, so perfect drinking temperature. Maybe I should take a swig before it warms up again. One day I will have a freezer so big that I always have enough space to store schapps.
My husband is so cute somehow. He would rather die than to taste something offered to him at supermarket stands. Unless there’s nobody around who’s promoting, then he may try. Yesterday he didn’t accept the offer from the guy at the stand, but when I gave him some of mine, he grudgingly agreed. I wonder what’s making him so self-conscious, he’s normally not a shy person.
St. Patrick’s Day is upon is and it turns out I now have plans to go to one of my favorite bars that’s not quite in my neighborhood to go get a vegan reuben and some green beer. We’ll see how crowded it is, whether I’ll be pissing green, and how many times I hear the joke about Irish chili. xD
