Couple of months ago my sister introduced me (30M) to her friend (26F). At first we just talked through discord and played videogames. But it appeared that we have so much in common. Then over short time we started to flirt and banter to each other. We shared our past personal stories in which I found out that she been roughly dumped a year ago. I felt mutual attraction between us and asked her out and we’ve been on 2 dates. We had a lot of fun together and she even asked when we go next after 2nd date. And I asked hef on 3rd date which she agreed to go. Thou she sometimes initiated physical contact herself during our dates, we still haven’t kiss as she acted all hesitant from time to time.
Couple of days from 2nd date she offered to watch movie together througg discord which we used to do already. We decide to do it on next day. But then she said that she have my sister to stay overnight so we have to postpone it. After this night she suddenly became more cold to me and started to keep distance. When I tried to aprobar time and place of our 3rd date she acted all weird as if she forgot we even had one, but yet still she agreed to it. Our conversations became more bland from her side and she more and more responds with simply yes or no. Sometimes she don’t responce at all.
I asked my sister what was the problem and why she acts so weird. My sister told me that during her overnight they talked a lot and that included about me. The girl I’ve been seeing, told my sister that she started to develop feelings for me, that she liked me, and she feels that I like her too. And she doesn’t want that I get attached to her. She doesn’t want that even someone fall in love for her. That she is not going to be good in a relationships. So she decided to keep distance from me.
I really like her and don’t know what to do. Should I keep maintaining same degree of our communication despite her pushing me away from herself? Or should I give her some space and time to figure things out by herself? Or simply just talk with her? I don’t know how to act there. Can you give me some advice?
