I’ve gotten myself help mentally and finally have a desire to go out and meet people as a life long introvert and basement dweller. I feel like i have no common interests with other people even with my favourite hobbies such as gaming since they’re rather niche. I’ve contacted some old friends and distant family but otherwise i have no idea how to go about meeting people and network properly. I’ve accepted that i’ll probably be nothing short of an idiot in social settings until i get a hang of it. The question is just where to start.
I’m attending Uni as my main occupation but that’s currently on hold to deal with mental and physical issues. I just need a place to start.
