So I’ve (30M) been on antidepressants for years now and am finally of a mind to ween myself off of them. It’s been a rough journey but I’m slowly getting to a good place again without them.
That being said, even though I don’t have a partner right now my sex drive is absolutely through the roof. I’m talking constantly ready to go, and my refractory period feels WILDLY shorter than it used to be.
Any clue why? I know SSRIs can reduce sensitivity, but I didn’t think they had anything to do with actual sex drive and recovery themselves.
