The most recent example is someone I work with who more or less went into a project with full charge and more or less took over what everyone else was saying, and it was difficult acctually interfearing if he said something wrong or that wouldnt work. Yet, the ones who were allready planing asked him to bring that info to the others.
Am I just not charmed by big personalities (ive been told by parents a lot that being loud and talking over others is annoying), or is there some subtext in it that im just not seeing, like confidence while talking?
You could technically say this about a lot of bravado behavior that i think is increadibly annoying, but somehow doesnt bother, and even charms others.
General “jock” personality is probably the most fitting word I can think of
