You do everything you can to help your body be as strong as possible (good diet, good sleep habits, exercise if it helps, working on managing stress, safe sun exposure) and you actively work on your mindset.
It’s not easy to have positive thoughts, it’s hard, but it’s really important to not let yourself drown in negative thoughts. It will make your physical condition worse, which will then worsen your mental health as well. It’s a never ending cycle.
If needed find a good therapist to manage the complicated feelings that come along with a chronic health condition.
