I’m beginning to feel like people who constantly post about their partner seem to be seeking validation from third parties b/c they’re not receiving it within their relationship.

More obvious when you actually know/hang around that couple lol….

This is coming from someone who likes sharing stuff on their IG…I love posting beautiful scenery, a delicious meal I ate, or something I just bought that I’m excited about on my story, just not personal stuff.

I’m not saying that you shouldn’t post about your relationship ever, especially a milestone (buying a place together, getting engaged, wedding, etc…) but, from experience, when I’m with someone, I don’t usually post about it b/c I’m just in the moment w/ them.
