I’m taking online classes in college and there’s these two guys in my class discords (made by students) that I want to befriend. We have some similar views on things that I found in their bios that generally makes me want to get to know them.
Anyways, I don’t know how to approach them. My social skills are down the drain and I’m worried I might come off as creepy. I can’t exactly just dm them with “Hey wanna be my friend?” either.
Asking them for help understanding lectures won’t work, as the teachers for their classes are terrible at lecturing and nobody listens (including these guys, they have said it themselves).
Any ideas? Or advice? I really want to get to know them but I don’t know what to say to get a conversation going when it’s one on one.
