I am going home for the weekend from college for Easter. The guy I’ve been talking to is in my hometown. He’s super sweet to me, we hung out a lot the week we first met, I was home for spring break. I of course had to leave to go back to college after spring break so we’ve been texting since then. It’s been about 2 weeks of texting. He shows lots of interest, calling me beautiful, asking about my day, saying things like “hope you have a good day” “hope you have a good workout” “be safe” etc. Always texts back in timely manner and isn’t dry.

I gave him a heads up that I will be coming home that Thursday. I really want to see him at least once but preferably twice but I want to test him to see if he will make the effort to make plans with me. It is important to me to have someone who puts in effort to see me. I trust him, talking has been going very well, but I have an anxious attachment style that I’ve been really trying to work on. I usually like to be the one to make plans, but I feel like this is a good opportunity to test him. How do I go about this to put the ball in his court but let him know I really want to see him?
