What foreign Animal Do You Wish We Had in the US?

4. Meerkats in the south west. I’d be way happier about me HOA fee if the maintained a meerkat trupe for scorpion control.

8. We have enough foreign animals (invasive) as is: Burmese pythons, tegus, feral pigs, green iguana, feral cats, etc.

20. The Allen’s Swamp Monkey in the Western South, primarily along the Mississippi Delta. They are very social primates whose diets consist of fruits and leaves, as well as beetles and worms. They live in groups of about 40, mainly in swamp forests in West Central Africa and are nearly a threatened species.

21. Not exactly a super exotic choice but I want hedgehogs.

22. I saw a post recently from someone somewhere about hedgehogs being ubiquitous where they are are, almost like squirrels here, and i want that. Granted, they might exist like this somewhere in the US, but i had never thought about wild hedgehogs before, and it sounds adorable.

23. Kangaroos, could you imagine herds/mobs of them jumping around like cattle 😂 No doubt they would destroy ecosystems, but it could be fun👀

26. Would be cool to have an extant tiger species native to the US, such as the Siberian tiger or Bengal tiger.
