For work I meet quite a few different people and work with them in close and high stress situations. I just found out that a company we work with is not renewing their contact, so I won’t see them again after the middle of the year. There is one guy I see and really like working with. He is a delight, and I didn’t realise how much I liked working with him until I found out I won’t see him anymore. I’m actually grieving due to this. Now knowing this would I consider him a friend? would it be weird if I reached out to him outside of work? I am taken aback by how sad I am at this news.
